Ballroom Shoes

The shoes, which are designed by Thierry Rabotin, formerly with Robert Clergerie, are made in Italy. Like the signature collection, the bridal line incorporates soft nappa, organza, velvet and microfiber stretch fabric for an easy fit and a soft, elegant look. Traditional bridal styles such as high heels, stilettos and platform type ballroom shoes and pumps have been replaced by feminine flats and low heels. Several of the bridal shoes are replicas of the more popular looks in her original collection.

"I adjusted the styles that people know so well from the regular line," she explained.

Featured in her debut line is a beaded organza slide and a mule adorned with crystal buckles, both of which are from Rose's holiday collection. Flats and thongs are also included for brides planning garden, outdoor or beach ceremonies.

Ballroom Shoes Trends

"If you look at the statistics, many people are getting married at the beach now, so why should they have to wear a pointed-toe satin pump?" Rose said. "These shoes have a younger, more casual, hipper look. There is the added plus that they still contain all the technology as my other shoes: Poron cushioning, an arch support, a flexible outsole and the most luxurious nappa. None of that is taken away."
